    Tournament League - 10 June 2008

Tuesday, June 10, 2008, 11:29 PM CST [Tournament League]

Due to events beyond my control, I showed up a little late to my league, and only got to roll a couple of balls prior to bowling for score.  For the 2nd week in a row, my first game was on the PBA Experience pattern (Chameleon).  I was never lined up in the first game.  I left a couple of 2-10 combinations and missed 1 single pin spare for a 151.

Next game was on the US Open pattern, and I had my best game to date (ever) for this pattern.  I moved in a little bit deeper this week.  I was rolling the ball over the 3rd arrow out to the 10 board.  It was the first time that I tought I might have a shot on this condition.  I ended up bowling a clean game for a 213.

The last game was on the USBC National pattern.  I couple of people recomended that I move inside on this pattern, so I made the move for this week.  Like the Open pattern, I was rolling the ball over the 3rd arrow, but I was sending the ball a litlle wider.  I ended up with a 181, but it should have been a 200 (chopped a 6-10 spare, and missed a 10 pin).

I ended up with a 545 this week.  I feel like I have been bowling crappy as of late.  However, after 3 weeks, I have a 183 average, which isn't too bad for these lane conditions.  (At least not for me.)

Nice turn around for games 2 and 3. Your format is a little different then ours. 183 ave. is not bad. I'm at 184 in my PBA league.
Looks like you found an area to play. Keep it rolling and good luck.
